Monthly Per Diem Charges
The UCR Committee on Sales and Service (COSSA) has
reviewed and officially approved the proposed campus vivarium recharge
rates for FY 2007/08. Our new Per Diem rates for all vivaria (effective
July 1, 2007) are as follows:
Cats 2.63 each
Chickens 3.85 per cage
Mice .29 per cage
Rats 1.09 per cage
Turtles .67 per tank
Hummingbirds .79 per cage
Finches 1.94 per cage
*These rates do not include additional charges for specialized
care, special needs (diet, bedding, etc)
or for species not listed above.

Log-in using your UCR
Net ID and password.

Click the "Reports and Inquiries" Tab

Click on the "Financial Spreadsheets"
link under the Campus Veterinarian Reports section.

You should see a folder with your UCR
net ID name. Open it and your spreadsheets
will be available.

Vivaria

Purchase Requisition
Form
For use when requesting purchases of animals or supplies for your
Protocol.
Please complete and turn in to the Animal Technician in the Vivaria.

Animal Transfer
Form
For use when you are transferring animals to UCR
from another Institution, or out of
UCR to another Institution.
Please complete and turn in to the Animal Technician in the Vivaria.
For incoming animals, transfers may take place after the sentinel report
is received.

Animal Housing Form
For use when you are requesting to house animals in one of the viviara. Please complete and turn in to the Vivaria
Manager in the Vivaria you wish to be housed. If you are
transferring animals from another institution, you must also fill out the
Animal Transfer Form (above).

Vivaria Key Request Form
For Psychology, BioMed and Boyce East Vivaria users who need to request a key to the Vivaria.
Please complete and have your Vivaria Manager sign (this may be done
electronically). Then call the Office of the Campus Veterinarian at
x26332 to set-up a time to pick-up your key. Only 1 key per lab will
be issued.
*Please note: Speith Vivaria
(Biology) users must contact Jay Palma in Biology (ext 2-2282) to
get access to the vivaria.
